11-13 June: Iguazu, Argentina and back

Flight Araras - Campinas/Viracopos International, 20 minutes, VFR. Needed a map of the Sao Paulo Visual corridors. In absence of having those visual checkpoints, ATC gave me vectors.
As I did not succeed to get a renewal/prolongation of my aircraft's 60 days stay in brazil, had to exit Brazil before end of that term. Nearest international airports are SARI (Iguazu, Argentina) and SGES (Guarani, Paraguay). Both about same distance, so we decided for Argentina.
Typical Sala AIS (SBKP)
Argentina is much more flexible with private pilots than Brazil, a call and e-mail to the SARI airport admin, and I had an authorization e-mail back (after a few fruitless attempts to reach the Argentinian ANAC in Buenos Aires, apparently ot needed).
Exit from Brazil in Campinas took about 90 minutes: the customs official inspected the airplane out on the tarmac, but no major issues there.
Flight Campinas - Iguazu, 3hs 20 minutes

visual corridors around Campinas

halfway, over Parana state
Descent into SARI traffic pattern
Right downwind for runway 31, SARI-Iguazu

Landed at Iguazu, where we got a great, efficient and friendly reception by the Argentinian officials

Next day short hop SARI-SBFI (Foz do Iguacu, Brazil). First time I saw our plane on the Departure panel at the airport ((Private 5AT), in midst of all the commercial traffic:
At Foz do Iguacu, new entry into Brazil, had made all necessary request via http://www.anac.gov.br/ beforehand, so went smoothly, but took us still 2 hours to get back in. From there off back to Araras with another 60 days in Brazil in our pocket!
